Climate Change and Its Impact

Research on climate change is varied and encompasses many disciplines. As more scholars examine the issue of climate change from multiple perspectives, new cause-and-effect relationships are being discovered and explored. In collaboration with the , 91³Ô¹Ï has produced two video lectures that explore the effects of climate change on issues of food security and conflict.

In Climate Change and Food Security, , Deputy Director of FSE, defines what constitutes food security and describes how changes in climate are affecting agricultural productivity and agricultural research.

In Climate Change and Conflict, FSE Fellow discusses his research on the surprisingly strong relationship between climate change and conflict and the possible security implications of this research.

A free accompanying discussion guide offers suggested activities and provides classroom materials that supplement the information and issues explored in the lectures.
